I can’t tell you guys how stoked I am to see this documentary. Tribe is some of my all time favorite hip-hop music and I think this doc is going to be fantastic. I hope it shows in Portland.
This track takes me back to junior high school… I love how laid back the beat is and of course Biggie’s flow is unmatched to this day.
Frank Ocean just dropped a music video for his song Novocaine. It’s not my favorite track from the album but I’m a fan of all his stuff. Check it!

This mix tape has been out for a minute, but I don’t like to recommend mix-tapes without listening to them through a few times myself. Curren$y released this with production by Alchemist, awesome mix of west coast production with a New Orleans voice. I never listened to Curren$y during his time on No Limit Records but I’m stoked about the direction his career is going. He’s been grinding for years and it looks like he’s finally found the acclaim that he’s been looking for. I’m hoping to see his show when he stops in Portland on May 15th.
